Relaxing in the Urban Jungle

A strange little refelcting pool in the public space behind Lincoln Plaza Cinema on Bdwy in the West 60's.

Went to go see Tell No One a pretty entertaining French thriller based on an American novel.

What I found most exciting were the chase scenes. Now, in most American movies when the hero is hurdling through streets being chased he or she seems to be in peak physical shape. They jump off buildings, leap over garbage cans and seem almost super humans.

Not the guy in this film. When he's being chased he stumbles, falls and we hear a big thwak and a groan. And WOW it looks like it really, really hurts. Sort of like real life, huh? Imagine that.

This is a green sand beach. Not that you can tell. Because this is black and white and therefore "artsy."

What you don't see...

I've never noticed this facade on Delaware Ave in Buffalo and I think I passed it everyday in grade school.
