Noise & More Noise

The landlord has been re-pointing my building for the past couple of months, off & on. Now with warmer weather...it's definitely more ON!

I asked my Super when he thought they'd be done...he said, "I hope by July. I'm going on vacation then, no matter what!" July???

These guys are slow!

Or drunk? After finishing my laundry yesterday I walked by a work-room in the basement and the re-pointing crew were all doing shots of cheap vodka.

I was sitting having lunch yesterday in the neighborhod and a cop parked his horse up in front of the diner. Sirens from fire trucks & police cars went by and this horse didn't even raise his head.

Argh

Whoever invented the "cube" system of desks and faux 1/2 walls for offices should be severely punished. Now.

And how is it every Cube City looks the same? Row after row after row of beige desks filled with paper & post-its.
