Pancakes

I ordered pancakes for lunch at a diner. They were prettty good but I can't help feeling like pancakes are just dessert all dressed up as breakfast food.

Day Trip to JFK

What a sunny day for a subway trip to JFK to visit Mom at the JetBlue terminal during her one hour layover.

The subway platform at Howard Beach is frigid & smells like the salty ocean air. Seagulls scream overhead and I always mistake them for crying babies.

After the Storm-the Fun Begins

I thought most of the kids in my neighborhood used cardboard boxes to sled...but these kids have some fancy stuff!

The Weather Forecast Didn't Lie

Usually when a NYC meteorologist says a blizzard is approaching we end up with 1" or so. Not this weekend.

Take Out

I have nothing to eat in my house except cashews so I decided to pick up some chinese take out. The lunch special is $4.25 and that comes with soup! What a bargin. The only problem is that in the few minutes I spent waiting for my order the wok started smoking...now my clothes smell like I've worked a shift at the fry-olator.

Still...$4.25. Pretty good. And no MSG.

The Non-Disney Orlando

Thursday was my last day in Orlando for work & I took these as I sat by the pool. You'll never see this sky in a Disney brochure. Well, if the Pirates if the Caribbean were approaching...maybe.
